Patsy Carroll

November 17, 1939 – February 25, 2011

Our loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away suddenly on February 25, 2011.

She was born on November 17, 1939 in Texarkana, TX .  Patsy married Don Carroll on May 25, 1957.   She will be remembered as a woman who was devoted to her family, especially her two grandsons.  Her passing has left an emptiness in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years; son Kelly Carroll and his wife Diana; grandsons Clayton (9) and Grant (6); sister Jo Ann Shumaker; and other extended family members.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 1st at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 East Creek Rd., Sandy.

In Loving Memory

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Patsy at RRAD for years and knew her as a vibrant loving person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and really cared about the people that worked for her. I saw Patsy one day before the move to Utah and she was so excited about her grandson. She loved her family dearly. You are all in my prayers. May God comfort you and guide you until you see her again in heaven.

Donnie, How very sad to see my long-time childhood friend's beautiful picture in the Gazette today. Patsy and I had many fun and crazy times when we were kids. I still have a big scar on my foot from a barbwire fence while we were being chased by a bull near Waggoner Creek! Although I haven't seen her since high school, I have thought about her often with wonderful memories and lots of love. My prayers and condolences to you and your family.
