Paul J. Nell

August 26, 1966 - October 22, 2024

Paul J. Nell, 58, of Utah, passed away on October 22, 2024. Paul grew up in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Honesdale High School in 1984. He attended Keystone Junior College for a year before joining his father at the family-owned Ford dealership in town.
A true outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed jet skiing, boating, skiing in the winters, and snowmobiling. He also dabbled in photography and had a deep love for animals. Throughout his life, he always had pets—cats and dogs—but his dogs, in particular, held a special place in his heart.
After relocating to Utah, Paul started his own snow removal business in the winter and worked in excavation during the spring and summer. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work and loved working with his hands, always enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done.
Paul is survived by his children, Adriana, Brody, Elijah (Riley), and Jake; his granddaughter, Billie; his sister, Karen Dickens (Michael) of Delaware; and his nephew, Jesse. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will miss him dearly. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Jo Ann Nell, and his grandparents, George and Mildred Fritz.
A Celebration of Life will be on November 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Silver Fork Lodge, 11332 Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Brighton, UT 84121.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alano Club Utah:

Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through his family and friends.
