Peggy Geraldine Baczuk
May 22, 1936 - April 5, 2022
Born May 22, 1936 in Albuquerque, NM to Herschel and Genevieve Esberg Johnson. Raised in Fort Defiance, AZ, on the Navajo reservation until the age of 14, when the family relocated to what was Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, UT. Peggy graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham, and Weber State College. She also
received a B.S. Degree from the University of Utah in Clinical Laboratory Science. Peggy worked in various local laboratories until retiring from Cottonwood Hospital in Murray. She loved her job, but most of all, she loved the people she worked with and the students that came into her life. They were family.
Peggy married Robert Baczuk in April of 1959, at St. Henry’s Catholic church in Brigham City, UT.
She is survived by their children, Michael Baczuk, his wife Peggy, and granddaughters Nicole and Natalie (Trent) Herbert; Rebecca Baczuk, MD and her husband Richard Kramer; Paul Baczuk and Shari Juhasz; sister-in-law Sandra Johnson (Douglas Dec), nephew and niece David and Kristen Johnson; nephew John Stephens and wife Amy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Jennifer, brother Douglas and half-sister Pauline Nelson.
There will be a private celebration of her life with family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the local Humane Society and to Best Friends.
She was a brilliant, talented woman who will be dearly missed by those that love her.
In Loving Memory
We will miss our dear, sweet neighbor. Peggy was a kind and compassionate person. Her absence from our small community will leave a sad void. It was our honor and pleasure to know her for as long as we have. LaMar and Mary Kay Williams

Peggy was such a great nextdoor neighbor and friend for my mom, Ivy Ruckman. They spent many hours talking poolside or around the kitchen table. She stayed in touch even after Mom moved to St. George, emailing faithfully for years. Peggy was a remarkable woman, and we will miss her sense of humor and kindness.

Peggy was such a wonderful person. We lost touch with her when she moved from Golden Hills. We had also moved to Texas. Larry had so many happy memories with her husband, Bob, when they use to hunt together. We use to get together on weekends at each other's homes. She was a loving mother to her children. I know she will be greatly missed by them. Our deepest condolences to all the family. ❤️ Larry and Veronica Haas
