Penelope Stone returned to our father in heaven December 31, 2012. She was born March 7, 1942 in Monroe, Michigan.
Survived by six brothers and two sisters, one son Sevier Averett, one daughter-in-law Audrey, and four grandchildren Conner, Coleton, Haley and Corbin. Preceded in death by her mother Delcie Lee Wood Bell and her father Lois Sydney Bell.
Penny attended both Ohio State University and BYU. She worked for Mountain Bell and US West for 37 years. The family extends its appreciation to all her friends at South Mountain Dialysis who have been so good to her over the years.
"Grandma Penny" will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 11:00 AM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, with a viewing one hour prior to services.

I have and will continue to miss my big sister Penny. She helped me with several issues I had growing up. She was like a second mom to me.

I am very acquainted with love and death this week my fteahr lost his twin brother to cancer Wednesday and my daughter the love of her life to a tragic accident today it seems that those I love are in so much pain over thier losses ..but they loved well and have no regrets. Love fully and with joy and hope .
