Penny Hughes, 73, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on October 22nd, 2025 from complications after surgery.
Her love of puzzles, the cosmos, and books will be missed. Penny is survived by her spouse, Barb; her son, Michael; her sister, Kathryn; her sister, Becky, and her four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Penny will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor at 3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City on Wednesday, November 5th from 6-8pm. Graveside services to follow the next day, Thursday, November 6th at 12 PM at Elysian Burial Gardens at 1075 E 4580 S, Salt Lake City.
