I want to express my condolences to the Thompson-Payne family. Uncle Bud brought character, humor, patience, love, and joy to our family. He always engaged with his family all the way down to his great great nieces and nephews. I loved carving time with Bud anytime I came in town and my children loved hanging out with him. He watched all my children grow as well as myself as I met him when I was in middle school. I will miss seeing his face light up, his hugs, and his love. We will miss you Uncle Bud... Love Julian and family.

I will always remember Uncle Bud for his big smile. He was the most fun great uncle you could ever have. My fondest memory is when I was a kid, my cousins and I would play around with uncle bud at the dinner table at Grammys in the morning while watching wheel of fortune. He was a big part of the family and will greatly be missed.
