Peter Raymond Grieve

Peter passed away November 17, 2015 in Bountiful, Utah.
He was born to Peter and Sara Grieve in Salt Lake City, UT. He was the baby of five: Tom, Margaret, Bob and Lillian, who always looked after him.
Peter enlisted in the Merchant Marines and then served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Pasadena where he was selected for maritime training. He retired from Mountain Fuel after 40 years of service. Playing golf and fishing was his joy. He was a great storyteller who always remembered the dates and facts. He enjoyed his 5:00 PM bourbon; family and friend gatherings; and his golfing and fishing trips with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carolyn; son Scott (Joyce); daughters Kerry and Jan (Nick); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and sister-in-law.
Friends may call upon the family at a celebration of life on Sunday, November 22nd from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building. Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 11:00 AM at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful.
