Peter Ryan Massa
July 27, 1978 - February 2, 2018
"Little Pete"
Our hearts are broken and our lives will never be the same with the untimely passing of our beloved son and big brother.
Peter Ryan was born on a hot summer day to loving parents Peter John and Frankie Massa. He attended Alta High School and Snow College. He worked at Robert Taylor & Sons and then Kelloggs. He was looking forward to begin a new chapter in his career.
Peter Ryan had the biggest heart and truly loved all his family and friends. He was always willing to drop everything to lend a hand. He had a kind word for everyone.
He had a passion for the outdoors especially hunting in the Bookcliffs and fishing in Flaming Gorge with his family. He was the greatest deer spotter in the world. Peter was a sports enthusiast whether it was watching the big game on TV or attending sporting events. In his youth he participated in all sports but his true passion was basketball and football in which he excelled.
Peter Ryan is preceded in death by his grandfather Pete Massa, grandparents Robert E. and Marylyn Taylor. He is survived by his parents, sister Ashley, brother in law Richard Oliver, Grandmother Patsy Massa, "The Aunt" Taylor Kelley, many special Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. His death has created a giant void that will never be filled. He may be gone but not forgotten.
Friends are invited to celebrate his life from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building and to wear casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, please offer an act of kindness in honor of Peter Ryan.
In Loving Memory
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear loved one, Peter. No words could ever convey the pain of your heart, but our loving Creator and Heavenly Father does know. He has promised that very soon this enemy, death, and all the things that bring our hearts pain will be a distant memory-Revelation 21:3/4. Until then please find comfort in knowing that "He (God) is close to the broken hearted and those crushed in spirit he saves"-Psalm 34:18. It is my hope that these passages along with your loving memories of Peter, comfort your hearts and give you a measure of peace during this most difficult time.
