Piper Marie Jacobson Mahunik
July 25, 1977 - March 4, 2012
Our sweet daughter and loving sister, Piper Marie Jacobson Mahunik, 34, passed away unexpectedly on March 4th, 2012 in Phoenix AZ. Piper was born on July 25th, 1977 and grew up in Salt Lake City. She received her bachelor in nursing at the age of 21 from Westminster College. In 2003, she married Justin Mahunik and they moved to Phoenix where Piper pursued her nursing career until her passing. They had no children but did have three dogs and a cat that will miss her terribly. They were her children. Piper loved life, loved children, and her energy and exuberance in her nursing made her well known to many. She had the most amazing smile and laugh, they were a gift we will cherish and always remember. Piper's compassion is what made her so loved as a nurse and as a friend. Her heart was as big as the world. Piper had struggled with many health problems over the past few years and fought bravely, she was strong willed and gave the best of herself to all of us.
Piper is survived by her husband Justin; parents Marie and John Jacobson; her sister Hailee Jacobson; and relatives too numerous to list.
We will celebrate Piper always, but for now we'll hold a memorial brunch for family and close friends on Wednesday, March 14, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 9th East. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery. All are welcome to attend this service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family by calling 801-474-9119. The family is deeply grateful for the loving thoughts and generosity shown in this sad and difficult time.

John and Marie, We couldn't have been more shocked to see Piper had died. i think it was just last year that I ran into hem when I run intot hem. We had no idea that she had had health problems. My heart is just breaking for your family and your loss. We would be honored to make a donation and I will get that taken care of. Well, the sie islf looks prety legit and is probably trortwusthy too I've playing few games and well they are pretty adictive too lol and doing the promotions steps, there;s seems to be a feeling of progress, but still I think to win money you need to pay a fee for the game you wan to play and compete, then play and beat the oponents an so, not sure, I havent been much on the site, since I am new, but will be playing few hours on weekends and holidays to kill time and well if there any cash on
