Rachel Janeal Cazier

July 23, 1988 - July 2, 2013

Rachel Janeal Cazier

Rachel was born July 23rd 1988, to Brenda Taylor-Prebble and Doug Cazier.
She was simply put, "a shining star from heaven".

She was born into this world with many physical limitations. Her life was a deep well full of love, simple unconditional love. Her smile was pure, her laugh was the 4th of July! She experienced pockets full of unconditional love by those who knew her, truly knew her, and when you looked deep into her eyes you could feel that love returned.

A true loss felt by her father Doug; her mother Brenda, who gave her the best 25 years of her life; her four brothers Stephen, Derek (Dani), Joshua (Trisha), and Zachary; her bonus father Brad; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and her wonderful caregivers……we are grateful.

A private service will be held in Salt Lake City for family and close friends. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.starksfuneral.com

In Loving Memory

Rachel was truly an angel!! I was able to get to know her when she was attending Post High in St. George. She had the Biggest Smile. My thought and prayers are with her family. She was amazing.

Sweet Pea (Rachel) touched my life in ways no other person has nor could. I loved her deeply .... and she loved me. Her eyes, smiles and laughter told me so. Though constrained in her little body, she freely gave love from a very deep well, overflowing. Sweet Pea was perfect and sinless. After 25 years of silence, I can visualize her bending God's ear with endless joyful jabbering. Having received her new body with perfect arms & legs, I can just see her creating a cloud of dust in heaven, probably chasing & racing Grandpa & Grandma. She changed my life...

I had the absolute honor of knowing Rachel for 5 years while she was living in St George UT. I was so sad when she moved to SLC and my heart is breaking at the news of her passing. Thank you to her amazing mother, Brenda, for caring for her so diligently and advocating for Rachel when she could not advocate for herself. "Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see. " -Helen Keller

To those who loved her best, and cared for her most deeply and faithfully, we send our condolences and love. Rachel was a gift from above. She taught us all about unconditional love. All one had to do was gaze deeply into her endless brown eyes and you could catch a glimpse of what the Bible would call agape love. Such a rare thing in this world. Rachel touched the lives of all she came into contact with. Brenda, Brad and boys....we pray for you, weep with you and rejoice with you. Rachel, fly free, dance til you're dizzy, and laugh that beautiful laugh. Save us a spot at His table. Love, Uncle Scott, Aunt Janeal and boys.

My prayer goes out to the Cazier family, I would like to express my condolence at this time to your family. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this, a comforting thought is at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away"

Rachel was a true angel sent from above. she touched so many lives for the short period she was here on earth. I only seen her a few times but her smile always lit up and touched me like no other.
