He proudly served in the Navy during WWII in Hawaii from 1944 to 1946. Ralph later attended the University of Utah Law School, where he graduated with a J.D. in 1953.Ralph had a true love for the legal profession, devoting himself to a lifelong practice with the prestigious Fabian and Clendenin law firm, where his greatest joy was the camaraderie of his colleagues. Ralph adored his wife Jan, with whom he traveled, played tennis and golf, and raised three children. They loved to dance the nights away to live music at the Fort Douglas Country Club. In Loving Memory
Dear Todd, Bart, and Holly, Your parents were long time friends of Marv and I. My husband died last June of ALS. We also belonged to HVCC. Golfing, dinners, and legal and banking advice gave us many happy memories with your wonderful parents. I last saw your Dad in November at the retirement home and we exchanged some of those. Although I have not met you, I feel that I know you through stories of growing up over the years. My deepest sympathy is with you and your families for the loss of this remarkable man. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service.
