Ralph Robert James Danielson
November 23, 1926 - August 1, 2013
Ralph died of pneumonia on the first day of August 2013, aged 86 years, 8 months and 9 days. He was the son of Gustave Ralph Danielson and Ethel E. McCawley, born in Camden, New Jersey in 1926.
He married Marguerite Jane Bickerstaff in Westville, New Jersey in 1951; they had five children. He was a retiree from IBM and served in the US Naval Reserve during the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman and had many other interests such as auto racing and historical studies.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marguerite; sons Ralph (Marilyn), Ronald (Patricia), and Eric; daughters Kristin (Garl) Fink, and Joy Goode (Steven Boettiger dec’d), brother Ronald; as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, where Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. “T” Street, Salt Lake City.
