Ralph T. McFalls
March 21, 1944 - January 16, 2022
Our beloved father Ralph McFalls passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 78 after a long battle with dementia.
Ralph was born in Salt Lake City on March 21, 1944. He graduated from Granite High School and enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served for six years. He then joined the Air National Guard Reserves and served an additional 20 years.
Ralph worked in the auto repair industry for many years. In the late 1980’s Ralph began a career in soil drilling and core sampling. He was the owner and operator of Interstate Drilling. Ralph worked in the drilling business until he retired.
Ralph’s favorite pastime was rebuilding clasical cars. He was a member Jester’s Car Club. Ralph restored a 1953 Mercury and won many awards for his work on this car.
Ralph was a kind, soft spoken man who loved his family. He also loved animals, especially his two shop dogs that kept him company for many years.
Ralph leaves behind his wife Sheri and five children; Mike McFalls, Kelly McFalls, Jenifer Ruff, Chuck McFalls, Becky McFalls – Schwartz and one deceased daughter Mary Alpuche. Also, survived by 5 grand children.
A viewing will be held Thursday, January 20th, 10am – 12noon at Starks Funeral Parlor with graveside services to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
