Robert E. Carter

"My house, my rules"

Robert passed November 6th 2015. He was born September 15th, 1949 to Marsene Dever and Mildred Eaves Dever later  adopted by Joe Carter. He married Susan Nickell June 2nd 1970. He served his country in Vietnam from 1970 – 1971. He was a member of Ironworkers local #27 for over 30 years. 

He enjoyed making knives, coin collecting, fishing and collecting rocks. You could always find dad staring at the ground looking for treasures. He was selfless with a big heart and would give you the shirt off his back. 

He is survived by mother Mildred Carter; wife Susan Carter; children Serena (Larry), Tony (Tosha); granddaughter Rickie (Nick); siblings Leon (Carolyn) Dever, Russ (Deann) Carter, Karen (Jim) Pritchett. 

A Memorial service will be held Friday, November 13th at 5:00 PM with a visitation beginning one hour prior at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
