Robert Grant Taylor

May 11, 1935 - December 20, 2022

Our precious Daddy & loving Husband, Robert Grant Taylor, passed away after a long adventurous life filled with love and service.

He was born May 11th to Melvin & Jessie Taylor in Marion, Utah and married his sweetheart, Rea Anderson Taylor, for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they have 7 amazing children, Sheri (Pete) Jensen, Susan (John) Paulk, Robert Lee Taylor, Scott (Michele/deceased) Taylor, Raquel Taylor, Stacy (Guy) Itow, & Stephanie (Vince) Martinez. Bob and Rea have 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Bob devoted his life to serving his family, his faith, and his country. He loved his family and taught them by example to work hard and serve others. As a family they lived in many locations around the world during his time with IRECO Chemicals and Dyno Nobel. He served a full time LDS mission in Monterrey Mexico, then later in life, along-side his dear wife, he served a Church Educational System mission in the Dominican Republic and a Church Service mission in the Roosevelt, Utah area. Bob also served his country as Assistant Chaplain in the U.S. Army.

Bob is remembered for his kind heart, his amazing capacity to love, his quiet demeanor, and strong work ethic. He loved to spend his time working around the house and in the yard. He was never idle and most happy when he was busy on a project or working on a honey-do.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and will be remembered as a devoted husband and father.

The family would like to thank Jennifer Park and staff at Bristol Hospice and Starks Funeral Parlor for their special care of our loved one. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

In Loving Memory

Dear Rea & Family, I am sending you all my thoughts and prayers! I know of the great loss you are all feeling. Bob was such a remarkable man - I enjoyed the years I was able to work with him at Ireco/Dyno Nobel. He was a hard worker and an amazing teacher but mostly a great friend! He will be greatly missed by many people!  May all your fond memories provide you with the comfort you need at this time!   With Love, Bill & Kathy McNeil
