Robert Harry Schneider Jr.

Robert "Rusty" Harry Schneider Jr., 56, passed away on September 10, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Rusty, was born in Carmel, Indiana, September 3, 1959, and was the son of Robert H. Schneider and Janet A. Beauchamp Schneider. He grew up in West Milford, New Jersey and graduated from West Milford Township High School in 1977. He went on to attend the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Graphics in 1986. He was instrumental in designing several corporate and educational logos of which the Horizonte Instruction and Training Center logo, in Salt Lake City, is his most visible.

He was an avid outdoor sports enthusiast and participated in several sporting events. He was an accomplished snow skier and at one time was training to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team. He enjoyed fishing, tennis, water sports and was an accomplished self-taught musician. Rusty enjoyed his two Macaws that he considered his "children". He was also a very dedicated "Deadhead" who followed The Grateful Dead whenever he could. Rusty had a unique love of life and held all creatures close to his heart.

Rusty is survived by his mother Janet A. Schneider, of Port Angeles, WA; sister Sherry Veenema, of Sandy, UT; brother Mark Schneider, of Payson, AZ; and sister Robyn Veenema, of Sequim, WA. He had with three nieces Trisha Veenema, of Salt Lake City, UT, Lindsay Veenema, of Port Angeles, WA and Jamie Wells, of Summerville, SC; and also a great niece Nona R. Veenema-Sutherland, of Salt Lake City, UT, and a great nephew Robert "Rob" E. Schneider, of Anchorage, AK. He was predeceased by his father Robert H. Schneider, in 1964.

The cremains will be interred at Elysian Burial Gardens, Salt Lake City, UT, on September 18, 2015 at 3PM.
