“Mike”

Robert Michael Code, 63, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the home of his daughter, Mikal Nielsen.

Mike was born August 19, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to John Code and Frances Dorothy Linton. He was a graduate of Roy High School and married Darlene Anderson in 1969. Mike was blessed with 3 wonderful children and loved his family. He had a few jobs over the years…UTA and HAFB but his real passion was building roadster's in the garage! He was the owner of RMC Specialties, which built and sold hot rod bodies.

Mike was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the Roy 7th ward for many years. He served as a volunteer in the Ogden Utah Temple until he was physically unable to do so. Mike struggled with Huntington's Chorea disease from a very young age. It was a real challenge for him, but he always kept a very positive attitude and great sense of humor.

Survived by his daughters Ann (Rob) Dinsdale, Mikal (Ryan) Nielsen; his son Dee Code; and his 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Peggy Knowles, Sharon Sansom, Melody Vandenberg; and his brother John Code. Mike was preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy Code, and his sister Jeri Holbrook.

Mike will be laid to rest on Monday, July 29th, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West Bountiful, Utah 84010
