Robert Michael Daly Jr. 'Byrd'

Robert was born September 24, 1951 in SLC, Utah. He died December 4, 2022 in his childhood bedroom.

A gambling, Louis L’Amor loving man spent most of his adult life in his beloved South Dakota. A perfect place to use his carpentry skills. Better yet he found and married the love of his life Becky, who died July 15, 2010. [Afterwards returning to Utah.]

Even though he was living in Utah, he made an annual visit to a special place close to his heart, where he felt the presence and honored his loving memories of Becky. From there to visit friends in Rapid City.

During what would become his final visit he spent many months caring for a sick friend. Where he himself fell critically ill and twice was saved by a great friend who can only be described as his Guardian Angel, Chino. 

Deciding after being hospitalized to return to Salt Lake City, Rob found a way to make final farewell visits to lifetime friends Bob, Gary, Bruce and Karen, Gary and Leigh.

Rob is survived by his sisters Janet, Judy and their descendants, Maikeli (Janet), Marci (Judy), Chester (Judy), and Kristi (Judy) respectively. 

No services are scheduled. Instead, to honor and pay our respects, loved ones will be traveling to where Rob paid his visits to Becky on an undecided date. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to reach out to Janet or Judy.
