Rose Marie Rosie Farrell
July 10, 1955 - July 28, 2015
Rose Marie “Rosie” Farrell passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Rosie was born on July 10, 1955 to joyful parents Marilyn and Edward Farrell. Rosie graduated from Judge Memorial High School and went on to work in various industries, but her passion always laid in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed the impact on peoples’ lives she was able to have with people from all walks of life through daily interactions in restaurants such as Fleur de Lys and Log Haven. Rosie lived her life in Salt Lake City, where she was able to be close to her family and friends, including her mother, Marilyn, her father Ed, and her brother, Patrick, as well as his wife and sons. Rosie will be remembered for her infectious smile, kind eyes, hearty and honest laugh, and her blunt, but thoughtful, manner. Rosie loved animals, and had many “fur babies” over the years who were lucky to have her as their mom. Rosie profoundly loved her brother, his wife, and her four nephews. She always made certain to have current pictures of them to show off to friends and strangers alike.
Rosie will be forever, affectionately remembered by her brother Patrick and sister-in-law Patti as well as her nephews Sean, Colin, Michael, and Jonathan Farrell.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM.
