Sadja Kee Zahne

June 5, 1972 - June 17, 2024

Sadja Kee Zahne, known to friends and family as Saj, passed away on June 17, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 52. Born on June 5, 1972 to Patricia Evans and Kee Zahne in Cedar City, Utah.
He is survived by his sweetheart, Brischit Muller; Mother, Patricia Messer; Siblings: Marcus (Cheryl) Zahne, Sherry Zahne, Sharon (Justin) Zahne, Tara (Thane) Heninger, Jared Zahne, Jason Zahne, Alyssa Zahne, and Joel Zahne; Grandmother, Ramona Jean Zahne; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Kee Zahne; Stepfather, Ben Messer and Grandfather, Ben Zahne; as well as maternal grandparents, Harold Evans And Melba Haslam Evans.
Sadja lived in Utah, Arizona, Guam, Maine, Washington and back to Utah by the time he was 11 years old due to his Dad being in the US Air Force. He was curious from day one and loved exploring (hunting deer in Guam on his own at age 4). He loved the outdoors and fishing. He worked in construction and with his brother, Jared, in roofing.
He loved finding and sharing unusual rocks. He loved wood working and made the most wonderful walking sticks. He didn't have a lot of earthly possessions, but shared what he did have.  He loved his mom's egg sandwiches and was always thankful for the many food runs.  He enjoyed Jason's curries and Tikka.  He loved raiding his mom's garden every season and sharing the tomatoes and hottest peppers with friends.  Many people have shared how kind he was to them.  And, most of all, he looked forward to being with and travelling each summer with Brichit.  He was at his very best and happiest with her.
There will be a memorial held for friends and family on July 2, from 6-10 pm at the Old Bingham Highway Mountain Shadows 3rd Ward Building, 8136 South Old Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah. We are having an informal “bring a dish to share” dinner. We want to share your company and stories.
Until we meet again dear son, brother, friend.
Love, Mom

Sadja and I  had a falling out a number of years ago dealing with politics.  All I know is I always thought Sadja was a good...decent guy. I was hoping we could make amends. I'm still hoping in the next life that will happen.  Sadja was my friend even if he had stopped seeing me as his. I know this sounds ...not so good. But..my love for my bro Sadja will last a lifetime.  He, and the whole Zahne family have always been good to, and ffg or me. I've missed our friendship these last 6 or so years brother. I pray God rest your soul.  I really mean it. You spent so long in so much pain(and joy here and there). I just pray our savior sees you...for you,  and accepts you into his loving light. I think you're worth it . Amen.
