Saige Aramaki
April 15, 1918 - February 2, 2017
Saige passed away peacefully at the Wentworth on February 2, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Born April 15, 1918 to Asajiro and Yasu Aramaki in Price, Utah. He served in the US Army as a Master Sergeant for 20 years. Saige attended MIS, military intelligence school in Fort Snelling during WWII. His military career took him to Korea, Germany and Japan. After WWII, Saige was stationed in Japan where he met his future wife June Toyoko Nitahara.
Survived by his children Ron (Susan), Irene Morrison, Kelly Marshall; grandson Justin; siblings Hiroshi and Mary.
Preceded in death by his wife, June; parents; siblings Shizuko, Masao, Shigeru, Junji; daughter-in-law Joyce; son-in-law Lee.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Please use complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building. Saige will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
