Seth Calvin Syndergaard
October 18, 1980 - February 21, 2018
Seth Calvin Syndergaard, passed away on February 21, 2018 in Sunset, Utah at the age 37.
He was born, along with his twin sister Tahnee, on October 18, 1980 to Terri Berg and Bryant Calvin Syndergaard in Salt Lake City, Utah. Seth was born with a peaceful, calm, and kind temperament that he carried throughout his life.
Seth had many passions whether it be camping, climbing, skateboarding, snowboarding or the culinary arts. We will forever miss his elaborate Thanksgiving dinners. His accepting and loving nature made everyone feel like a best friend; there wasn't a person or animal who didn't instantly feel connected to him. He always wore the biggest smile and anyone who knew him will remember him smiling and laughing. He loved being with family and friends and was known for helping everyone with their home projects amongst other things. He enjoyed his work as a mason and his career at JH Masonry.
He married Katherine Hendleman in 2002, later divorced. His son Cael was born in 2001. Seth loved Cael more than he could find the words to express and he longed to reconnect with him. He married Andrea Eastman on September 5, 2015 and was honored to become a father to Jordan Wilson and Joshua Wilson Jr. and loved them dearly.
Survived by his wife Andrea and boys Jordan and Junior; his son Cael; parents Bryant Syndergaard, Terri Berg Rivera and Nicholas Rivera; sister Tahnee Sumner (Taylor); brothers Zakary Syndergaard and Taylor Langston; sister though marriage Estelle Rivera; grandparents Paul and Joan Berg; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who adored him and will miss him deeply. Preceded in death by grandparents Calvin and Rosemarie Syndergaard, aunt Lorna Syndergaard, and his cousin Jeffrey Berg.
Seth, like many, internalized everything. If you know anyone who is struggling, love them, support them, and get them connected with resources that can help. Be a detective because sometimes we don't notice the signs until it is too late. If you are struggling, stay strong, get help. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S. 900 E., Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building.

Our hearts go out to Seth's family and friends. I am the mother of two of Seth's close friends, Rusty and Matt Fulks who truly loved Seth. He was in our home with our boys in Farmington at times and I clearly remember his amazing smile. We are so sorry he lost this battle with this hard life. He is relieved of that now.
