I am deeply saddened by the Walker family loss, definitely a life too short lived. I remember like it was yesterday at football practice seeing him in the huddle and his smile definitely was infectious. Even at track practice he was always laughing about something. What stood out to me was that he was a tough competitor. He wasn't the biggest but man he was one of the scrappiest and grittiest players and people I have ever come across in my life. Shane had so much fight and he truly epitomized what being a Judge Bulldog was all about. The Lewis family is keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Words can't even describe how i felt when i heard of your loss. I haven't been around for a long time, but i still remember shane's smile and laugh, he truly was very one of a kind. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

When I think of Shane I always remember that smiling face & arms opened wide always ready to give warm & loving hugs. He filled our lives and our home with so much joy and laughter. I still remember the endless wrestling matches he would have with Zach & Katie, and the many times I would have to remind him Katie was a girl & that he needed to take it easy on her. She remembers the countless hugs he'd give her in the hallways after she started Judge. Zach just remembers Shane being his friend. We will miss him so very much. Dear Walker Family, Though I know Scott more through the Newman Center, I met Shane a few times. I remember one specific time was when we were doing a fundraiser called "Rent-a-student." Shane was one of the first to be there & introduced himself to me. I remember how much energy & enthusiam he had that day. Such a great person. I am so very sorry for your loss. Shane was such a central part of my four years at Judge Memorial, he always brought a smile to my face no matter how my day had gone, and always left me in a great mood. He was an incredibly positive friend, and I am so proud to have gotten the chance to compete with him on the Track and Field team and have him as one of my closest friends. Shane means the world to me and he will be dearly missed by so many. All of my thoughts are with your family.

Steve, Sherry, Sean, Scott & Katie, I love you all and I am filled with sorrow at Shane's passing. I've spent somt time here looking at pictures of the beautiful baby, smiling little boy and the young man making silly faces while striking funny poses for the camera, all the while with wonderful memories running through my mind. The last time I was up there staying in his room I wrote my favorite quotes on his board and thanked him for helping me make candies for Amanda's baby shower with his girlfriend. I talked with him afterwards and thanked him again for helping me that day and he told me he liked my quotes, especially Walt Disney's "It's kind of fun to do the impossible." During that brief phone call he said "I've had a lot of fun and done some things others thought was impossible and yes, that was fun." I will remember that when I think that his life was too short - he knew he accomplished some goals he had set for himself, he had fun in his life, knew he was loved by family and friends and at least he had that knowledge. I know that Shane had a big heart and he was a loving young man. I know his family and friends are better for having had him in their lives. I know we will all miss him and keep his memory in our hearts. I know and believe with all my heart that God holds him in His loving arms and he is surrounded by his family members who went before him. We love you all and we keep you in our prayers. tho i only talk to Shane never actually met him he was great guy i know ill miss the short texts me and him had just BS'n throughout the day. only thing i want to leave everyone with is we should celebrate the death and cry for life cause life hardships are over at that point. and i am sorry for your lose but live life to the fullest, the best gift anyone can receive is the fact they left a great impression upon us and never to forgot them. and he is never always around us now so no need to worry, just look up and call out his name.

Shane was always a magnetic field. So much so that paying attention or accomplishing the focus when I was over at the house was many times altered with talking to Shane. Going fishing and playing zilch will never be the same for with those activities comes thoughts of thoughts of Shane. All good memories that can never be added to with Shane. I will miss hearing him say "Karen", always in the same tone and pronunciation with his arms open for an embrace. If only this experience could teach us something to prevent it in the future, but no, he continued to be the fun loving, caring and compassionate, happy and positive person to the end. Thank you Steve and Sherry for creating this wonderful person who gave so many great memories to so many people. I too am sorry that he cannot continue to provide those memories and experiences for most, but especially you and your family. My prayers will also be for him.

Dear Walker Family. I'm sorry this is so late. I've been back east caring for my mother. When I flew in Saturday night, Jarred told me of your tragic loss. Needless to say I am stunned. It's been a full ten years since Shane passed away. He was the most loving, genuine, and hilarious people on this planet. Shane made such an impact on so many lives, including my own.
