Sharryl Lynne Salisbury Holt
Families Are Forever
Sharryl Lynne Salisbury Holt, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on August 12, 2010 surrounded by loved ones. Sharryl was born May 26, 1945 to Ruth Marjorie Cooper and Eugene Clontz in Ogden, UT, who later divorced. Ruth married Jesse Henry Salisbury and together they raised Sharryl and seven other children. Sharryl married George Gerald Judd, Jr. and together they had 3 sons, later divorced. On May 29, 1971, Sharryl married the love of her life, Timothy Holt. Their daughter, Eva, was born five years later. On August 15, 2006, their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Sharryl was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many positions. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and gardening but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her large close knit family who were “always” doing something fun and adventurous.
Sharryl is survived by her husband; children George Alan (Jeanne) Judd, David (Maria) Judd, Jeff (Stephanie) Judd, Eva (John) Lopez; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters. Sharryl was preceded in death by her parents, her infant sister Sharrie, many family members and her dog Bogie.
Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and care givers at Jordan Valley Medical Center. A special thank you to Chaplain Lenae Peavey for all of her time and compassion.
A celebration of Sharryl’s life will be held Tuesday, Aug 17, from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S. 900 E. SLC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 18th in the LDS Chapel at 6270 West 7000 South, West Jordan, followed by interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to funeral services.
“The love of my life, the beat in my heart, my beautiful Sharryl shed a final tear and returned to her Father in Heaven. I will miss her terribly” Love, Tim
“God be with you ‘til we meet again”

Tim and family, Dennis and I were so sorry to hear about Sherryl. She was my dear friend. I stopped by to see her last week in the hospital and she was so weak. We all know she is running all over now, enjoying family and friends gone before and waiting patiently for those still here. We send our Love and support. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank goodness for the gospel that will sustain us. Our prayers are with you all. May the happy memories bring you smiles and laughter at this time. Remember she is only a breath away. We love you, Tim. Dennis and Jan Holland
