Shereen Kilpack Campbell

April 25, 1939 - January 3, 2023

Our loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend
passed away at age 83 on January 3, 2023.

Shereen was born on April 25, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Maureen Peck  and Frank Kilpack.  In September of 1949, her mother married Karl W. Badger.  He stepped in as her father and lovingly helped Maureen to raise her and her two brothers, Larry and Robert Kilpack.  Later they all welcomed two more children, Vincent Badger  and Ceselie Badger Goodwin (Lewis).

On April 7, 1961 she married James Y. Campbell. They made their home in Cottonwood Heights in a beautiful house which James built for them.
Together they raised their children Marni Campbell (Mike Hare) and Daryn James Campbell.

Shereen loved her family so much. She loved being a wife and mother and a grandmother to grandsons Jarek Campbell and Conran Coffey.  She loved being a sister and an aunt.  She was a friend to so many.  She was a loving daughter who was close to her mother and was very devoted to
caring for her mother and stepfather in their later years.

Shereen had a huge heart. Her incredible compassion and empathy were beyond measure. She loved helping others and many benefited from her kindness.  She worked for the Granite School district for many years as a teaching assistant to special needs children and teenagers.  She loved her students and they loved her. For many years she ran a women's weekly support group where she touched many lives.  She loved her home and her garden, especially the  backyard stream that she designed and James built.

Shereen has been lovingly laid to rest with her husband James at Elysian Burial Gardens.

The family wishes to thank all of those who helped our Mom.

In particular her caregivers Sofia and Anna Filip who so lovingly cared for her during her final years.   We would also like to thank the many supportive friends and neighbors.

A special thanks to Starks Funeral Parlor for their professionalism and kindness.

Words cannot express the depth of our families gratitude to Ceselie and Lewis Goodwin and Jody Paul.  Your love and support have meant the world to us and we will be forever grateful to you.  We all love you so very much.

In Loving Memory
