Shirley R. Murray
April 12, 1936 - July 19, 2026
Our sweet darling Shirley passed away peacefully on the morning of July 19, 2026, following a brief illness. She will be missed dearly by many friends as well as her pit bull, Rosie and her monitor lizard, Sandy Sunshine.
She was born on April 12, 1936 in West Virginia to Dera Delp and Alta Whitaker and grew up on a farm where her love for animals began. She loved tennis and cats. She was feisty and fiercely loyal. She had a great sense of humor. She was loved by her family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her son Brad (Blossom); granddaughter, Erika; two sisters; and two step grandsons.
Friends are invited to a memorial at her home on Sunday, August 2nd from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
