Steven "Steve" Meeker passed away December 1, 2017.
Steven Meeker, born October 14, 1948 in Medelia, MN to Catherine and Melvin Meeker. Steve was one of the best men we have ever been lucky enough to get to laugh, talk, and connect with, you are a hero in so many ways. The laughs that were shared and the stories told will stay with us forever. He enjoyed life and was always sharing a story or two. We are all so grateful to have had the pleasure of your company. Ooh Rah! Semper Fi!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 14 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. It sounds like he was the same joyful person that I knew years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. Steve will be missed by many.

I was very troubled to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and my friend Chris. Since his passing, I'm reminded of all the good times we had together, whether sitting around a campfire or bellied up to the the bar. I will always be grateful to him for being my best man and the memories that will always be with me. I loved this man, he was a friend to all that knew him, see you in heaven!

My deepest sympathy to Steve's family. He was a good friend, classmate, fellow veteran and was in my wedding party. Steve traveled with me to Denver in the summer of ?72 and I left him at the Jct of I-70 and I-80. He was going farther west to see his sister. May God Bless His Memory!
