Susan Dahlstrom Feda, 71, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on July 1, 2026. Susan was born on September 10, 1954 in Winnebago, Minnesota to the late James and Clara (Roche) Dahlstrom. Susan grew up on a farm near Delevan Township, Minnesota until her family moved to Springfield, Minnesota in 1963 then Fairmont, Minnesota in 1969. Susan graduated from Fairmont High School. She then continued her education at St. Cloud State University where she received her BS Degree in Special Education and at the University of River Falls, Wisconsin where she received her MS in Special Education. Susan taught special education in St Paul, MN, St Peter, MN and in Billings, MT. She later worked for Intermountain Health Care for 21 years.
On July 16, 1977, Susan married Thomas (Tom) Feda. Together, they had two boys, Kent Thomas Feda and Cody James Feda. Susan enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and telling stories with her family, she especially enjoyed spending time on the family farm in Delevan, Minnesota where she grew up. At home in Utah, Susan loved FaceTime with the Grandkids, thrifting and collecting quarter sawn oak pieces.
Susan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Feda, of Sandy, Utah; her sons, Kent (Nicole) Feda, of Manassas, Virginia, and Cody Feda, of San Francisco, California; her grandchildren, Libby Feda, Jack Feda, and Addy Feda, of Manassas, Virginia; her sisters, Mary (Jerry) Dahlstrom-Salic, of Delevan, Minnesota, and Karen Dahlstrom, of Stillwater, Minnesota; her brother, Greg (Ruth) Dahlstrom-Afcha of Rochester, Minnesota; her step-mother, Marge Dahlstrom, of Fairmont, Minnesota; her sister-in-law, Lori Dahlstrom, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, grand dogs, dog nephews, and friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Dahlstrom; her father, James Dahlstrom; her brother, Dave Dahlstrom; and her brother-in-law, Bob Thompson.
The family extends their heartful thanks to all the wonderful caregivers who showed their love and compassion while caring for Susan. You will all be remembered as God’s angels serving those in need.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago, Minnesota on August 8, 2026, at 3 pm followed by graveside services at the Rice Lake Cemetery, then dinner and stories back at the church’s Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family prefers donations be made in Susan’s memory to any of the following:
