Teresa Ann Jedrziewski
August 6, 1962 - March 28, 2021
On Sunday, March 28th, Teresa Wood Jedrziewski passed away in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was 58 years old at the time of her passing.
Teresa was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to DeLone and Delano Wood. She graduated from Woods Cross High School in 1980. While working as a server and cook at Bountiful Golf Course, she met the love of her life, Ric Jedrziewski at age 15. They were married in 1981, and the following year welcomed their first daughter Chezlie. Four years later they welcomed their second daughter, Sierra, in 1986. Teresa’s family was her greatest joy. She was so grateful for her kids and grandkids.
Teresa started her aesthetician business in 1996, it was a 25 year long business that she built from the ground up, she was passionate about a career that helped people feel beautiful. Her clients became her friends and they meant so much to her.
Teresa was so kind, giving warmth and love to everyone she met. She loved being around family and friends. She was the first one to turn on music and start a dance party. She could have conversations for hours, about anything and everything, to the point where hours could pass by without even noticing. She was truly someone that led with her heart and gave from her soul.
She loved her kids and grandkids with her whole heart. They are the most important thing in her life, she would do anything for them. She taught them love, kindness and compassion. She found so much joy with them. The kids gravitated to her because of her humor and playful nature. She was known as Dong to her grandkids, a name that her eldest Granddaughter gifted her.
Teresa and Ric enjoyed traveling the world. Visiting most of Europe, Mexico, The Carribean and Hawaii. It was their passion, and it made her so excited to see and explore other places. Through her travels she learned that everyone everywhere all want the same thing in life, to be happy, enjoy family and friends and have love in their life. Teresa had so much love in her life.
Teresa is survived by her husband Ric Jedrziewski; her two daughters Chezlie Jedrziewski (Joe Middleton) and Sierra Jedrziewski (Andrew Galbraith); her five grandchildren Rylie, Mavrick, Roman, Cain, Julian; her mother DeLone Wood; brother Danny Wood; and sister Sheila Readman. Teresa is preceded in death by her father Delano Wood.
Friends are invited to celebrate her life at a wake on Friday, April 2nd from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Adults only, please.
