Teresa 'Terry' Marie Meyer
November 17, 1944 - January 19, 2021
Teresa Marie Meyer passed away January 19, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Teresa (Terry) was born to Tom and Zelta Lozano in Jerome, Arizona on November 17, 1944 while Tom was serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific.
Terry married her husband Peter in April 1965. Their 55+ year marriage was a living example of purest love, devotion and deep happiness only found when two truly become one; an inspiration to anyone who witnessed it. They have one daughter and three grandchildren. Terry was very proud of her education, graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in accounting. She made a career in her chosen field working as an auditor for the state of Nevada, retiring in 1998.
Peter and Terry loved traveling in their retirement years. They enjoyed cruises, train trips and especially traveling in their camper. They traveled extensively throughout the United States with Peter as Pilot and Terry as navigator and turn director. Sometimes getting lost but generally getting where they were going; always having a great time just being together.
Teresa will forever be remembered as a devoted wife and mother whose love for family had no bounds and always came first. Her Catholic upbringing and education instilled in her and her family a remarkable faith grounded in a love and unwavering devotion to our heavenly father.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; her daughter Laurinda (Buck); brother Tomas; and three beautiful grandchildren Saige, Payson, and Colton.
