Thelma Lucille Owen was born in Bolivar, Missouri, on April 28, 1927, to the loving parents ER Bean and Lucille Marshall Bean of Aldrich, Missouri. In 1946, she married H. Dale Owen, and together they embarked on a journey of enduring love and partnership.
Thelma was a graduate of Aldrich High School and an esteemed alumnus of Pearl River College. Her sense of style was unparalleled, and her favorite color, pink, radiated the joy and vibrancy she brought to every moment of her life.
She was not only a remarkable ballroom, square, and western dancer but also a proud member of the esteemed Kickin' Kountry Dancers. Thelma's feet danced to the rhythm of her heart, and her grace on the dance floor was a sight to behold.
Thelma's creative spirit shone brightly through her talents as a seamstress and baker. Her chocolate and lemon meringue pies were legendary, and her rolls were nothing short of a culinary dream. She filled her home with the sweet aroma of love and warmth, and her kitchen was the heart of her family gatherings.
Thelma was also a skilled card and domino player, and her competitive spirit made every game memorable. Especially if playing meant being with her siblings she adored or letting her grandchildren pretend they were winning her hand.

She was a beacon of love and light, and her legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to inspire us all. Christine and I would like to send our condolences to all of Thelma's extended family. She was a wonderful sweet lady and always so nice to Christine and I. I know that the family will miss her greatly, but everyone should celebrate how special her life was and how much she loved and was loved by her family. God will be getting another Angel.
