He married Eleanor Cruz, later deceased.  Together they had a son, Bobby.  He later married Maria (Libby) Rodriguez in 1968.  They had two daughters, Maria and Christina.

Tom worked at Los Alamos Laboratory as a painter and a machinist for 14 years.  He drove trucks for North American Van Lines and Shell Oil.  He proudly worked at UTA for his last 17 years before retirement; he was especially proud of having driven over 3 million miles in his career.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 8th at 1:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3580 West 3650 South, Salt Lake City.  Viewing and vigil will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 7:00 until 9:00 PM, also at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan.
