As you all know, words cannot express the sorrow and sadness felt by all who personally knew Tom. This was a person that always made you feel welcome, no matter when or where you were. They say you can't choose your family, and I say THANK GOD you CAN choose your friends... Tom, it will be hard for me to visit your home and not hear the proverbial welcoming voice yelling from across the room....GEOOORRRRGGGE! Michelle, Matthew and Mason, my heart is ripped, cracked, torn, broken? not only for my loss of Tom but especially for yours. May you all have the peace and blessings of the lord to get you through these tough times. May his memory be eternal, ayognia y mnimi, is what your Greek buddy will say? may his memory be eternal.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was such a good man and always had a hug and smile for me. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tom's personality was larger than life. He was kind and happy each time we saw him. Michelle, Matthew, Mason: may the numerous memories you have of him keep him with you and give you strength through your grief. Much love to you all. Rest in peace Tom and cheers!! until we meet again.

We have lost a great one. Tom had an incredible spirt and just made everthing better when he was around. I will miss you...I love you man. I hope your family will feels god's comfort and love. I pray we will find peace and joy in the memories Tom gave us.

I was shocked to hear about Tom! All I can say is God must have needed someone , in Heaven, to give him a good laugh! He certainly picked the right man! Tom was always happy, ready for a big bear hug, liked to joke, never turned down a cold beer, enjoyed good friends and good times. Thanks for the memories! Damn, you are going to be missed by A LOT of people ! My condolences to your family, and everyone who knew you.

I am the Hon BDM in Cleveland, Ohio. I only saw Tom once a year at our National Sales Meetings but you didn't have to know him for more than a few moments to be able to call him friend. He was a wonderful co-worker - and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Michelle, Matthew, and Mason, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Tom on a daily basis for the past ten plus years, and the first part of every conversation we had started with something about one or all of you. He was proud of his family, relentless in his enthusiasm and positive approach, dedicated to his profession, and a source of tremendous energy. He was a mentor, an advocate, a consistent top performer, and most importantly, always a friend. I can't remember ever closing a conversation with Tom without him asking "What can I do for you?". I will always think of him as the Big Man that he was. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

How lucky are we to have met "Big Tom". After the news we cried but then remembered that Tom was about love, hugs (and he gave the best ones), laughter, family, friends and that's how he would want us all to live our life's. Tom you will always be a part of us...Tom made a major impact on our little beach town and it is feeling his loss. While we won't be at the service we will honor him on Friday at "Ye Olde Plank" with "BUD LIGHT" in hand.

I got the opporuntiy to work with Tom a few years ago. What an awesome man Tom was. Always had a big hug for ya no matter how long it had been between visits. Michelle, Matthew and Mason, I had the good fortune of working with Tom for the past 10 years. Although we were separated geographically by the entire country and only saw each other once or twice a year, it was always such a positive and enthusiastic greeting, and one I relished. Tom was truly genuine and will be missed by both me and our company. My family will keep you and yours in our prayers.

I first got to know Tom years ago when we went trap shooting as competitive manufacturer reps with Corporate Express. For the last several years he has been coming to see me in Montana and we had just made plans to take him fishing next spring. I'll catch one just for him when the time comes! Tom was a good friend and will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly difficult time. God bless you.

My heart and prayers go out to the Scholl family as I had the pleasure to work with Tom at The HON Company and what a true joy it was to spend time with Tom as he was always upbeat and love life. He would always tease me because I was a Gator and we got Urban Myer away from Utah. Tom will truly be missed and again, thoughts and prayers to Tom's entire family. Ed Goff

For Michelle, Matthew & Mason, I was lucky to work with Tom for many years; he was a true friend, never more so than when the chips were down. He was definitely the guy with the crowd around him at the bar after meetings and his hugs were indeed legendary. He embraced life in the same way and will be missed so much. Michelle, Mathew and Mason, Brother, Duane - Brother, Tom... This was the unique and very special greeting your husband/father and I had every time we spoke. Tom was a true blessing of a man. Someone that I am so very grateful to have met while working at HON. There are very few people in the world that have the gift to immediately make a life long and positive impression. Your husband/father certainly made his imprint on my heart and I commit to to the same with everyone I meet. His special gift will live on..... Michelle, I can't express how good it was to see my friend Tom at the utah football game, we talked briefly and made plans for a night out.Then to here the next morning he was gone I was devastated, I had the pleasure of coaching little league football with him.He was a great teacher,coach and mentor to me and everyone else that was lucky enough to be touched by his smile and bear hug. One of my favorite things he would say to the x men on our teams was " I love you big uglies because I is one" to my friend you will be missed greatly by everyone.
