Tiffany Ann Torossian

November 7, 1983 - March 4, 2023

Tiffany Ann Torossian said goodbye to her dearest loved ones, and left this world on March 4, 2023, with clear eyes, a stalwart smile and a peaceful heart; .  In her 39 years of life, Tiffany truly left an indelible mark on the lives of all those around her.  Whether she was traveling, dancing at concerts, brunching at fabulous restaurants with her girls, lounging on the beaches of New England, or hiking slot canyons in Southern Utah, it was evident that no one was a stranger to Tiff.  She had an immense gravity that filled you with a desire to be closer to her, and you were better for it.  But at home with her devoted husband Derek, her boys Trey and Drew, and so, so many dogs is where Tiff felt the most joy.

Derek and Tiffany met in the summer of 2012. Both were newly divorced and met for their first date at the Hog's Wallow (a favorite of Tiff's) for a drink.  Tiffany was reluctant to jump into a new relationship, but was hopelessly drawn in by  Derek's smile, his commitment and devotion to his two boys, Drew and Trey, and his boisterous and infectious laugh. It wasn’t long before the two married on June 28, 2013. Tiffany often referred to that day as the best day of her life and the happiest she had ever been.

Tiff’s family was the cornerstone of her life, but if you ask them, they would tell you that SHE was “the glue” that held everyone together.  Tiffany was adopted by her parents Sargent (Sarge) Torossian and Patricia (Pat) Hicken when she was days old. She was proud of being adopted, and often referred to herself as “the chosen” child.  Tiffany often referred to her family as being a bush instead of a tree. When Tiffany was 4 1/2, she became a big sister to Mike Hicken, (Bubba), whom she tormented like any big sister would, but also stood up for him when anyone gave him grief. She also became a sister to Kristopher (My Smophie) Schmidt. Tiffany referred to anyone in her inner circle as family.

She relished hosting big family dinners and BBQ's in her beautiful backyard.

Tiffany always longed to be a mother, and was always a natural caretaker. After marrying Derek,  Tiffany became a mom to two rambunctious,  kind fun boys. She helped raise them in a loving, healthy, kind household with Derek and the boys' mother, Laurel. Tiffany worked relentlessly to create a positive, healthy relationship in co-parenting.

“Work hard, and be nice” was Tiffany's mantra. She worked hard at everything she did: maintaining friendships with her girls, keeping a house looking spectacular, raising chickens and “oodles of poodles and doodles”, taking care of the boys, her career making prosthetic teeth, and creating jewelry. She always made time to be there for anyone when they needed it.

Tiffany had a wit that was sharp as a razor and was quick with some of the most ridiculous one- liners.  From “her key cars” to “Hey, hey, hey” and “Hey baby, what's good?” There was never a lack of humor and charm to her.  She would do anything to make someone's day, and hated people to be sad.

In that spirit, we celebrate her life together as friends and family of this incredible woman, on Saturday March 11, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are encouraged to use the parking and entrance on the north side of the building.

In Loving Memory

Tiffany is such a beautiful soul. She was fun to talk to and a joy to be around. I loved her quirky nature and sense of humor. She was one of those friends that even if we hadn't been in touch for a while, we could pick things up as if no time had passed, whenever we ran into each other.  My heart aches with your family, but I believe Tiffany is still near and that we will see her again. Tiffany may have been in Utah for some time but we were happy to have her and her family share summer memories at the NH Coast. She was a Torossian but had many others who loved her as family.  Tiff was a talented, kind and witty young woman who left us too soon. May her joy of life, family  and oodles of poodles keep your memory of Tiffany in your heart. Our deepest sympathies,   Vicki, Peter and Jennifer

Tiffany was one in a million. She was a truly genuine person who always strived to do the right thing. The world needs more people like Tiff and I am heartbroken that she had to go. She will be truly missed in so many ways. May her memory be eternal. I know she is in a better place and protecting her family now as a guardian Angel, just like she did here on earth. My deepest sympathy to Pat, Mike and Sarge.
