Tina Medel Hodgson
August 6, 1958 - August 2, 2023
Tina was born to Joseph Medel Jr. and Lois Joy Meadows in the Cottonwoods of Holladay, Utah where she also grew up.
She is preceded in death by her mother (Lois) and brother (Tony J. Medel). Tina is survived by her father (Joe), husband (Curtis W. Hodgson), and son (Cody Curtis Hodgson). She was one of a kind, she loved life, friends, above all- her family. Tina was selfless and would do for others before herself. Amazing doesn’t do justice in describing her.
Tina and the love of her life, Curtis, were married in December of 1976. They cherished their life together for more than 47 years. She was the manager of Curtis’ independently owned and operated regional commercial insurance business. Strong willed like her mother, Tina never gave up on anything. She was known to be smart as a whip, like her father, Joe.
Losing Tina is a sad day for survivors, but a blessing that she is no longer in pain from her 2 year battle with breast cancer. We know that God could only love her more than her surviving family and friends. Until we meet again and reunite.
Love you Tina, always have, always will.

Words cannot express our sadness of loosing Tina. Our cousin, best friend & our rock. Tina was the spoke of the wheel that kept everyone together. We will miss everything about her, her laugh, beautiful smile & her concern for us all. Tina fought her courageous battle with all she had, her words, "I am the storm". God Bless you Tina, RIP, you deserve the best seat in Heaven. ❤️❤️

Tina will be missed by so many. My heart aches at her passing but I know she is happily reunited with those that have gone before her. I know she hurts no longer and that brings me peace. She will be forever in my heart and will always be my sister by another mother. Wishing her family peace and comfort in this difficult time.
