Tomoko passed away on July 25, 2011 and is now at rest.

She was born November 26, 1973 in Kyoto, Japan where she was raised.  Tomoko met Masanori when they were each studying in Tokyo.  They moved to Utah to pursue higher education, sharing a beautiful love story, marrying in 2001.  She attended Snow College and earned her BA degree from Utah State University. Her lifetime dream was to be a mother.  She and Masa had three children together; she loved and cared for her children passionately.

She is survived by her husband; her children Eito (age 6), Lin (age 4) and Kenta (4 months); parents Akemi and Hideo Hashidate; and two brothers; and many friends.

A wake will be held on Saturday, July 30th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

Donations may be made for her children at any Zion’s bank in the name of Tomoko Naraoka.

Wow, sorry i have no words to express your loss. All i can say is I am very sorry for your loss. I didn't know you as well as my children. I remember meeting you last year at Rinze's 18th birthday dinner along with Mike. Again I have no words to express my loss for you and your family. My condolences to you and your babies. Hi, Sama-san. Gobusatadesu. I knew this from Mayuko-san's post on facebook. I feel so sorry for your loss. I met her only once when Mayuko-san had a Xmas party. I remember she was very nice person. This is very sad. I don't know what to say, but Ganbattekudasai.....

Masa, i dont even know what to say. im so sorry you lost your wife and best friend! she was a great lady and i was so thankful that she was in my life. i loved seeing her smile and always enjoyed being around her. i was always soo jealous because she has had 3 kids and she looks as good as she did. :) i love you and your kids and i always tell my family this.. whenever that sun is shining down upon us that is our loved one saying they are ok and they love us! so when that sun is out you will feel her love. please stay strong for your kids and family.. they need your strenght. i know its hard right now but you will smile again and thats what she would want. may god be with you and your family! xoxo connie and kids!
