Tracy Lee Bowman Bridge
Love You Always
On September 10, 2012, our loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Tracy was born on October 25, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to June McDonald and Don Morris. She graduated from Granite High School in 1959. Tracy married George Allen Bowman "Sonny" on June 24, 1968. He passed away in 2001. Tracy was sealed to him for time and all eternity on July 17, 2012.
She married Leslie Bridge on February 28, 2008 and was welcomed into his family of children and grandchildren. They had four beautiful years together. He preceded her death on February 15, 2012.
Tracy was employed by Kennecott Copper for 25 years and later retired from the Utah Office of Education.
She was very humble about her artistic gifts. Many friends would have never known how talented she was with stained glass, wood-work (thanks to the Mother's Day scroll-saw gift), oil painting, ceramics, knitting, tile-work (even tiling her own kitchen). She had more tools than Dad. Tracy was a devoted pig-collector and compassionate lover of all animals and would stay busy quilting for the humane society. Above all, Tracy had an unconditional love for people and a huge heart.
She is survived by her children Blair (Stacy) Bowman, Lisa (Elmer) Talbot, Michelle (Brad) Ackerman; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rory Reynolds; and son, Brett Bowman.
Friends may call upon the family on Friday, September 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 15th at noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
We would like to express our gratitude to First Choice Hospice, her nurse Bill and Dr. Jane MacPherson for their loving care of our mother.
In Loving Memory
Best of wishes to all the family! Tracy was a brilliant woman with a bright light! It was an honor to know her and be part of the Bowman Family!

My thoughts and prayers are with Tracy's family. She was a loving and caring friend and coworker for the nearly 25 years I've known her. I will miss her deeply.

My condolences to Tracy's family. She always spoke so lovingly of you. It was such a joy to work with her at the USOE. I was an AFS volunteer who talked with her frequently regarding the placement of foreign exchange students here in Utah. She was a wonderful person and such a helpmate. I respected her immensely.
