Trevor F. Bellaccomo

March 10, 1988 - May 14, 2022

Trevor Bellaccomo’s life was taken from his wife and family in a senseless murder on May 14, 2022 in SLC, Utah at the age of 34. This vicious act was a cumulation of cyberbullying and harassment from within the SLC Punk Rock community. This multi-talented artist was born on March 10, 1988 to Shauna and Salvatore Bellaccomo in Orem, Utah who later divorced.

Trevor started playing the drums and writing his own music at age 12 when he formed his first band, Destitute Talent and then The STDs in Vernal, UT. After moving to SLC, he played with The Twelfth Street Staggers, Boot Down Bois, Negative Charge, Never Say Never, NFFU, Revolt, Angry Streets, and many others as a guest drummer across the United States. He made at least eight albums with various bands. He also had gigs as a roadie and merchandiser. Trev always stood out in the crowd with his unique colored hair styles, tattoos and self-designed clothes. He had a successful screen- printing business, making band merchandise, patches, punk shirts and customized studded jackets that sold throughout Europe and Asia. He designed swimwear fabrics and patterns which were modeled in a Punk Calendar he created. His clothing and creations were worn by the cast in the cult movie Punk’s Dead, SLC Punk 2. Aftert he movie, Machine Gun Kelly donated the studded jacket Trevor made to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Trevor lived each waking moment to the fullest. He planned oversea trips each year to attend concerts and visit historical sites such as the pyramids in Egypt. He participated in animal rights protests from Italy to Scotland. He enjoyed the symphony, opera, but especially loved riding roller coasters at Lagoon and visiting Disney Parks with his family.

Trevor looked like a bad ass but was a passionate defender of animal rights. He was fiercely dedicated to leading a vegan lifestyle. He met the love of his life, Ally Goddard while attending an animal rights protest in CA. Together they traveled cross country to work as social activists against animal abuse from av an Trevor built. They got married inA pril on Earth Day and were planning to fly to Japan in October for a Japanese marriage ceremony with Ally’s family. Trevor had found true happiness with Ally. Trevor provided a voice for the voiceless as he organized and led events with UARC inSLC. He also volunteered at the Sage Animal Sanctuary on weekends and helped care for each animal there.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to either Sage Mountain Sanctuary (sagemtn.org) or the Utah Animal Rights Coalition (uarc.io/donate)

Trevor is survived by his wife, Allyson Goddard; mother, Shauna Scott- Bellaccomo and spouse Kevin McGeeney; his father, Salvatore Bellaccomo; brother, Bryson Bellaccomo, all of Salt Lake City; grandparents, Vicktoria Hizer-Rizvi and Jehangir Rizvi of TN; grandfather Jack Scott and Juanita Scott of KY; aunts Marianne and Josephine Bellaccomo and spouse James Helman of CA.

A Wake will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 26th, 2022 at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT. A live streaming service of the celebration will be available here on this site during the celebration.

In Loving Memory

As I sit and contemplate what to write, it's hard to do justice to over 20 years of friend ship, or highlight the many things Trevor accomplished in his 34 years on Earth. Mostly just single words come to mind. Son, brother, husband, friend, musician,  taylor, businessman, promoter, activist, traveler, vegan, artist, adventurer, craftsman, etc. Though he was all of those things and much more, nothing I could say would adequately capture the essence of who he was, and just how much he had seen and done in his lifetime. He lived to the fullest and pursued his dreams and ambitions with a fervor that far exceeded what most could conceive. He is now reunited with our fallen friends Chris and Rob, as well as his beloved animal friends Eleanor and Spots. May he enjoy their company forever in paradise.

To Trevors family. I only met Trevor a couple of times when he was living in Tennessee.  He was always so nice and polite.  Had a smile and a grin and just made you know he was a good person.  He showed love and respect to his Grandparents and to me that said it all. I am so very sorry your loss of this really nice man.

Bryson, Shauna, and all of Trevor's loved ones,    I am so sorry for your loss. I have not seen or talked to Trevor in a long time but I am not surprised that his passion and creative talent have made such a wonderful difference in the world. His big heart attracted others to him everywhere he went. His life shines bright and will continue to shine through the people that knew and loved him as well as his activism for truth and compassion. Keep protesting Trevor.
