Troy Ricardo Cordova

September 2, 1968 - June 28, 2012

Don't weep for me, I'm coming home.

You were taken away from us so suddenly of natural causes, we didn't have a chance to say "goodbye" or "I love you."  Your heart simply couldn't handle all of the care and compassion you had for others.

He is survived by son Troy Jr. "TJ"; parents Timmy Cordova and Sadie (Ed) Brothers; sisters Tery (Bob) Davis, Tammie (Charlie) Ostenburg, Tanya (Tim) Evans; brother Thomas E. Cordova; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 5th at 11:00AM at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 624 West Lennox Street, Midvale, where viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Midvale City Cemetery.

My thoughts and prayers are devoted to family and friends in this time of mourning, but especially to those closest with him. Uncle Troy left a special mark in all our lives and he will always be remembered in our memories of him and the love he had for everyone in his life.

THERE ARE NOT WORDS TO DISCRIBE HOW MUCH I WILL MISS YOU. I NEVER KNEW I COULD HURT SO MUCH. I REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS SAYING "DON'T WORRY. I'LL BE ALRIGHT". I GUESS I WON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOU ANYMORE. AS JAMES SAID "YOU'RE FLYIN WITH THE ANGELS NOW" FOREVER IN MY HEART LOVE YOUR SIS

This (very) little book cotanins ideas for personalizing cards for 30 occasions. The categories run the gamut from frequent occasions such as birthdays or thank you notes, to the rarer events like retirements and new homes. Each occasion has a page or two of short sentences to help you express your sentiments. This book will not really help you write longer notes, or letters; but it is perfect for adding something personal to a ready-made greeting card. The last 40 or so pages are devoted to space for you to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas/ Hanukkah/ Kwanzaa card lists. Without those pages, this would be more of a pamphlet than a book. I would have preferred more content instead of space for lists that I keep on my computer. I like the idea of customizing greeting cards, and I'm sure I'll use the phrases in this book to jump-start my notes. However, if I had leafed through it in a store, I'm not sure I would have bought it.
