Tyson J. Done
August 30, 1973 - March 5, 2018
Beloved son, "bra", husband, and father. A beautiful soul left our world and took a piece of our hearts with him. He leaves behind a daughter and "princess" Nina ‘Bean' Michelle, his "Old Ones" Ken and Tania Done, and "bra" Travis. Tyson lost a long, arduous battle with his demons and now is finally at peace. He graduated from Valley High School in 1992 and attended Salt Lake Community College where he studied business. He spent many years working in healthcare supporting those in need of care as a Financial Manager for skilled nursing facilities. Tyson had a strong work ethic and integrity that he was proud of.
Tyson was always ready with a smile, a big hug or a slap on the back, and a "How the hell are ya?" He had a contagious smile, charm, and sharp wit that would light up a room. Most would say that Tyson was a cool dude and a pretty nice guy, though he was a mean poker player and a ruthless cribbage player. Tyson was not one to back down from a challenge and he had no fear; whether it was jumping off cliffs, riding motocross, or snow skiing straight down the hill. Tyson was an avid golfer with one hell of a long stroke, rode motocross for many years, and was a true fan of all sports. He had many fond memories of trips to Lake Powell and adventures in Germany with his family. Nothing gave him more joy, however, then listening to his girls' giggle, sing, and dance.
Tyson will be forever missed and always cherished. Every time we see a breathtaking sunset, spot a kokapelli, or notice 412 we will think of him. Rest in Peace.
A celebration of Tyson's life will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an animal charity of your choice.
