Weston “Wes” Jake Frantz

“The heart of Mid City” son, brother, cousin and friend to many passed away May 11, 2022.

Wes was born May 3rd, 1989 in Taylorsville, Utah to Jill Christoffersen and Bradlee Frantz.  Weston had a love for the outdoors, spending time with his best friend and right hand man Cody and watching all sports especially …..GO UTES BABY!  He had a love for everyone and anyone he came in contact with. He would light up a room with his presence, his laugh and his contagious smile. He built Mid City Pub with his brother, Mother and Aunt Lisa,  It was one of his greatest accomplishments and he had a way of making everyone feel special and welcome.  Mid was a place where many became life long friends!  Weston made everyone feel like they were the only person in the world when he spoke to them, his heart was bigger than his body. He lived a life of happiness, adventures and laughs.  Survived by his mother Jill Christoffersen his brother Cody Frantz and proceeded in death by his father Bradlee Frantz.  Grandparents Victor and Helen Christoffersen, and Grandpa Gary Frantz Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, Utah.  Guests are encouraged to use the north parking lot. Immediately following the service there will be a candlelight vigil being held in his honor at Mid City Pub where you may come and share your stories of Wes.

Gone too soon, but will never be forgotten.

In Loving Memory

My brother, It has been a while since I've seen you, but that doesn't change the fact that you are my brother. Shine down on us bro. God needed you more than we did. I will always remember lining up against you during little league football days, and you being one of the harder hitting dudes on our team, next to Zack Perry. Love you bro. See you again someday. Jill & Cody-- I'm still bereft over his untimely passing. I am terribly sorry to have not been able to attend the celebration of his life, a life which was bigger than life itself, and touched so many. Jason & Steve said the event was overpouring with 100s. His legacy will live on forever. My heart and prayers remain with you. Lovingly, Katherine
