Willa Carol Trappett Matthews Tavey
Willa passed away on December 15th, 2009. She was born on February 4th, 1928 in Park City, Utah to Audrey Weeks Trappett Hill and John Trappett.
Married Richard Franklin Matthews, who preceded her in death, killed in Korea in 1950. She later married Richard John Tavey on December 2nd, 1960, later divorced. She had one child born on April 24th, 1962, died the same day.
She was educated in the Salt Lake City schools.
She worked for O.C. Tanner Co. for 21 years. She became ill with Asthma and had to retire. She had been ill for a long time.
Survived by her brothers Robert Trappett and Lloyd Kurt Hill.
One brother John Ray Trappett; and sister Lela Fay Trappett Wardle preceded her in death.
Urn burial will be held on Friday, January 8th, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful.
