William C. Oakden Jr. son of William C. Oakden Sr. and Verne M. Hutchings, passed away the morning of June 11th, 2016. Bill was born August 21st, 1928 in Beaver, UT. Bill was a Marine and very proud to have served his country in the Korean War. He was a hardworking man and honestly enjoyed a hard days work.
Bill married his sweetie Gwendolyn Ann Green on March 8th, 1959. Bill and Gwen were blessed with 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Gwen; grandson Billy; parents; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
He is survived by his children Bill (Suzanne) Oakden, Vickie Oakden and Becky (Casey) Valdez; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 12:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, Beaver. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
