William Wallace McClure Jr.

January 9, 1927 - April 17, 2014

His brother Lynn (Terry) McClure and sisterJoan Roxburgh also survive him. He was preceded in death by wife Shirley and daughter Robyn.

Bill was a proud Scotsman who loved a good story, loved his family, and took great pride in his work. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of electric utility distribution in the Salt Lake valley, and enjoyed keeping in touch with his coworkers. He taught his grandkids many things, including the value of compound interest.

The family hopes that you will wear a splash of red, which was Bill's favorite color. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to the American Heart Association in Bill's honor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or you may go tohttp://honor.americanheart.org/goto/Bill_McClure.
