Zachary Paul Boehme

April 23, 1974 – October 31, 2011

Zachary was born on April 23, 1974 in Salt Lake City to Brian and Michelle Boehme.  He passed away at home in his sleep on October 31, 2011.

Our beloved father, son, brother, and true friend will be sorely missed.  He would give the shirt of his back not only to his family, but also to any one that asked.  He loved fishing and camping and spending time in the desert ATV riding with family and friends.  Zachary was a true fireworks enthusiast. He and his brother in law were renowned for their firework shows. Zachary was a carpenter since the age of 18, and was well known for his work ethic, and devotion to his job.  He loved yard work so much that he landscaped other peoples yards for nothing, but he was most proud of his “Yard of the Year” award for the work he did in his parent’s yard. Zachary served with great pride in the US Navy.  He had a great love and devotion to his four children and to his loyal Schnauzer’s, Gracie and Molly.

Survived by his children Haylee, Nathan, Ethan, Kyrra; parents Brian and Michelle; brother Christian (Marjorie); sister Bethany (Jake); grandfather Frank Burleson; nephews Dylan, Samuel, Lynn, Zack, and Connor; and niece Olivia.  Also survived by numerous special, special friends.

Preceded in death by grandma Velma; Aunt “GoGo”; great-grandmother Margaret; as well as many other family members, and friends.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 4th at 1:30 pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 12:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations for his children are being accepted by America First Credit Union. Please reference account #2136031-8.1, in the name of N. Boehme.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. We just wanted to take a minute to tell you how sorry we are for your loss.Take some comfort in knowing he will always be watching over you, always be in your heart...

Michelle and Family, My condolences is with you. I'm sorry for the loss of your son. I was shocked to hear of your loss. None the less, the bible tells us, that we all are appointed a day like this. Michelle, seek the face of the GOD for his strength and comfort. Only he can supply your needs. May the LORD GOD richly bless you and your family, in this time of need.
