Zackery Tyler Jones
July 17, 1998 - May 27, 2017
Zackery Tyler Jones, 18, returned to Heaven early on Saturday, May 27, 2017 near his home in West Valley City, UT. Born July 17, 1998, to Marjorie Hoggan Boehme and Christopher Jones in South Jordan, UT.
Zack was a very happy and energetic child. He loved to play outdoors and create with his hands. He was very curious and enjoyed figuring out how things worked. He had a passion for camping and skateboarding and was rarely seen without his headphones on listening to his favorite music. He had a great imagination partly influenced by his favorite fantasy movies including The Lord of the Rings. He joined the Cub Scouts and achieved the Arrow of Light. Zack graduated from Hunter High School in 2016 and then chose to pursue some additional post high school education, of which he graduated and celebrated, just 2 days before his passing. He was deeply empathetic, and to those around him, he was a great support and was always willing to lend an ear to anyone in need.
He leaves behind his broken hearted family: mother Marjorie (Christian); siblings Michael Lynn, Connor, Elena; his father Christopher (Katie); siblings Ethan, Hunter, Elexsus, Jaxson and Jayda, as well as a very large extended family who all loved him dearly.
Celebration of Life to be held on Friday, June 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.
A Viewing will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, June 3, at the LDS church on 4322 South 5400 West in West Valley City. Funeral services immediately following at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness in memory of our dear Zackery. Kindness is the Cure.

I am so sorry about zach. I loved taking care of him at Dr. Yamashiros. My life has been blessed knowing zach. He is a great kid. He made me laugh. It was so awesome to see him as a little kid and watch him grow to be so independent. From weights inn his back pack to make him strong and the skate board he would ride everywhere. I loved how candid he was about himself and his honesty when maybe once or twice i don't know if i liked it. Lol. He will be missed. Thank you for letting me know such a kind soul.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Zachs passing. He was always so kind to us. It was a joy getting to know him. He assisted us once when he was working at the DI. He gave us the best service I have ever had. He was so thoughtful, considerate and kind. He will be greatly missed. May your hearts heal with all of the wonderful memories of an amazing young man. Love Sister Behling.

Zackery, my dear son, I am writing this on what would have been your 19th birthday. I love you more than words or tears can say. I am sorry for all your pain: mental, physical, and emotional. You endured more than I ever could. I will strive to keep your memory alive by sharing kindness with everyone around me. Rest in peace. I love you.
