In Loving Memory

We feel like we have lost a good friend. Bob would often stop by our cabin after checking the spring and we would have a good chat about the mountain. We will miss him and offer you all our sincere sympathy and condolences. Hope to see you on the mountain. Bonnie & Eldon Farnsworth

Dear Sluder family, I'm speechless and incredibly saddened by the terrible news. Most of you don't know me, but Bob saved me one day out in weber canyon when it was -10 degrees and I was broke down 8 miles out. Without hesitation he towed me back to the truck, but under one condition, as soon as I got cell service I had to call Barb and let her know he was ok just going to be late. Bob was always kind hearted and supportive when I saw him. The world needs more men like Bob Sluder. My sincere condolences and love. Ed Lewis

Barbara, I was so saddened to read of Bob's passing. He was larger than life. It was such a pleasure to work with him at Williams/Kern and know that our families had such a great connection in the transportation industry. This just breaks my heart. May your memories bring you comfort during this time. Love Michael aka Michelle :-)

Dear Barbara & Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Bob was a giant of a man in stature, commitment, leadership and friendship. The respect I had for Bob as a friend and a leader at Northwest Pipeline was earned, not demanded. He was an amazing president and always had a smile for everyone. His open door policy was not just for some, but for everyone. I will never forget his kindness, his willingness to mentor and his respect for his peers and subordinates. He was a truly wonderful friend and leader. May his memory be eternal.
