My deepest sympathies to the family and friends. Death at any age is difficult. May you find comfort in the words found at 1 Corinthians 15:26. It says: And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. And Hosea 13:14 says "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them." A wonderful promise from God who cannot lie.

Jean, Charlie was a very good friend of mine from the EIMCO days. We would occasionally meet and catch up on old times. I worked on a few projects with him when he was at SME.I interviewed him not long ago about a PM position at my work, we spent most of the time shooting the bull and catching up. He did not say anything about health issues. I remember you from EIMCO days. My heart goes out to you and family. He was a true gentleman.
I am a two time prostate cancer survivor, I would be interested in the type of cancer he had.

Charlie was a true friend. He was also my neighbor, co-worker, boss and advisor on anything I needed some engineering advice on. I had lost track of him after he left FLSmidth until just now. I do know he loved Jean and all his girls. He will be missed by those who knew him. My thoughts are with you.

To the nicest family ever, and I truly do mean it. Jean, Tammy, Tina, and Amy I was so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I first met all of you when Tina was in 9th grade. She came to my families picnic at Fairmont park with her then boyfriend Frankie. I learned to love her and all the rest of her family after that. I wanted all of you to know how sorry I am. Jean you were so blessed to have 50 years with Charlie. All the wonderful memories of Charlie will carry on through your wonderful family that you have. May God bless you all through this difficult time.
