Robert L. Sluder passed away on April 20th, 2017, surrounded by his family in Salt Lake City, UT.

Born March 1st, 1950 to Woody and Alta Sluder, he was 1 of 2 children. He met Barbara Metz in Alaska and the two were married on January 17th, 1976. Bob was an engineer by trade. He was a man in constant motion, an endless supply of knowledge and a steady stream of inspiration. He was a rare combination of strength, determination, drive, creativity, and intellect. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at his beloved cabin, where he taught his sons to appreciate the outdoors and how to get the job done right.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years; three sons Jess (Sarah) Sluder, Riley Sluder, and Daniel (Jessica) Sluder; three grandchildren Aria, Wyatt and Presley; sister Sheryl Halton; nephew Scott Halton; niece Kim Taylor; and favorite dogs Bubs & Reo.

A memorial will be held at Red Butte Gardens on Friday, May 26th, 5:30-8:30PM, 300 Wakara Way.
