Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend left us on July 28,  2017 and has joined her mother, Peggy; father, John; and son, Calvin John (CJ) and is now soaring with the pelicans.

She was born in Boise, Idaho on January 23, 1952 and was the oldest of 5 girls. She was the prom queen and member of the marching squad in the last graduating class of St. Mary's of the Wasatch in 1970.

Marilyn was a dedicated employee at Backman Title and definitely the best dressed! Her favorite things included the Denver Broncos, the Eastern Idaho State Fair, the high limit pit at the Rainbow Casino in Wendover, Nevada, camping at Tanners Flat, Bear Lake and the beach in Mazatlan.

She leaves behind her husband, Scott Brown (Little Lovie); sisters Melissa McIntyre, Julie Dupuis (Philip), Cathy McIntyre (Charlie) and Chris McIntyre (Ray); her many children Lexxie, Chandler, Justin, Jennifer, and Casey; her special nieces and nephews Johnny, Sarah, Dana, Clay, Jacob, Alex, and Ashton; and her several great nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute clinic 1A, and the hospice staff at CNS Nursing Services for their compassionate care for Marilyn.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building.

Sister, next time we go to Wendover, we are counting on you to help us hit the triple, triple, triple.
